Auræ Ensemble
was born from the various collaborations between the recorder player Mathilde Aigouy and the soprano Gaia Szames. From Renaissance polyphonies to Baroque cantatas, their projects always seek to explore rarely performed repertoires while combining a historically informed approach and a search for simplicity embodied in the fluidity of air, foundation of their respective instruments.
Polysemía
is an ensemble created in 2022 by Gaia Szames, voice, together with with Alexander Baker, Adriana Méndez, Giuseppe Ciraso-Cali and Magdalena Kasprzyk-Dobija in the viola da gamba. Their main focus is the madrigal form and other polyphonic compositions such as motets, from the beginning until the culmination of this musical genre.
